Where and when do we practice?
St Andrews Church Hall, London Road/Craven Road, Reading RG1 5BD
(Just beside the Royal Berks Hospital)
Monday evening 6.30pm – 8.00pm
What does it cost?
When you come along you’ll have 4 free weeks to decide if you would like to join.
Junior membership is £20 per year.
Senior membership is £40 per year.
What do you get for your membership?
Free loan of a practice chanter or pad and drum sticks
Free tuition and materials
Free uniform when you turn out for the band
What age do I have to be?
Youth members play from 6:00 to 8:00pm (8 to 18 years old)
Senior members play from 7:15 to 9:45pm
What do we expect from you?
Becoming a member of the band does take commitment and we do expect regular attendance and some practice at home.
As with every hobby is does take dedication to be good at what you do, so the more practice the quicker you’ll be out playing in the band.
